All packed!

Hello loyal readers, and welcome to my blog. This seems like the most efficient way to keep everyone posted regarding what the hell's going on as I make my way south, first from NYC to Buenos Aires, then from Buenos Aires down into Patagonia. I imagine there will be some movement northward at a later date, but for now the direction is down.

Not much to say at this point. About four hours until I set out on the initial leg of this journey: F-train to Jay St, A- or C- train to JFK. We'll see where I stand once that's been accomplished. I'm too lazy to take/post a picture of my bag all packed up, so instead I give you this:

Yup, that's the first of many selfies to come (especially if I don't make any friends while I'm down there). Disclaimer: I actually bought a new pack once I got to NYC. My frugality was overwhelmed by how insanely uncomfortable the pack was on my hips. That sterling recommendation aside, if anyone knows anyone who has a bit more padding on their hips than I do, and wants a pack...

More to follow, folks.
