-Almost missed my connection because I misplaced a visa payment receipt. But really, this wouldn't be my sort of trip if I didn't misplace/lose something.
-Watched 12 Years a Slave on the plane. Cried.
-Successfully bartered in Spanish with cab drivers to exchange my usd at the blue dollar rate, then proceeded to get overcharged for the actual cab ride because my mental math was off. This will be a learning process.
-Avinash missed his connection by 10 minutes, so instead of waiting for him in the airport, I checked in early and grabbed the last available bed in a hostel. Got in at 4am, so everyone is out discotheque-ing. Yours truly is chillin on a couch with free wifi:
